The Lac de Sainte-Croix is a 1.5-hour drive from our charming hotel in Castellane. From the Lac de Sainte Croix, you can enjoy a wide range of water activities. Enjoy a paddleboarding, pedal boat, or electric boat ride. You can also relax on the lake's shores or swim in the refreshing, uniquely colored waters of the Lac de Sainte-Croix. The village of Castellane

In the heart of lush greenery, discover the village of Castellane perched at an altitude of 724 meters. Climb to the Chapel of Notre Dame sur le Roc, at the top of the village of Castellane at an altitude of 930 meters. You'll have a breathtaking view of the entire region. During a walk of one or one and a half hours, you'll be at the heart of nature.

Lake Allos

Amid the peaks of the Mercantour, discover the Allos mountain lake, nestled at an altitude of 2,230 meters. Allos Lake is the largest natural high-altitude lake in Europe. To fully appreciate Allos Lake, we recommend visiting outside of July and August to avoid the crowds.

The village of Colmars

Colmars-les-Alpes is a mountain village bordered by the Verdon River. During your visit to Colmars-les-Alpes, you will discover the remains of the village's military past. This village will delight lovers of mountains, nature, and history. Visit the ramparts, Fort-de-France, and the Cascade de la Lance.

The Citadel of Entrevaux

Entrevaux is a fortified medieval village in Provence. Lose yourself in the narrow streets of the town center and discover the famous citadel. Lake Chaudanne

Lake Chaudanne is wilder than the other lakes in the Verdon. It is surrounded by limestone cliffs and steep terrain. We recommend climbing to the top of the village of Demandolx for one of the most beautiful views of this exceptional lake.

Moustiers-Sainte-Marie

This characterful Provençal village is among the most beautiful in France. You will be charmed by its church, ramparts, chapels, aqueduct, fountains, and more. The village of Moustiers-Sainte-Marie is known for its faience factory. Treat yourself to a historical stay in this village.

The Valensole Plateau

Depending on the seasons, the Valensole Plateau changes color and landscape. During the winter, you'll enjoy the snow-capped peaks of the Alps; in March, you'll see the almond trees in bloom; in July, you'll see the blue of the lavender contrasted by the gold of the wheat; and in November, you'll discover the ochre of the plowed land.

The hikes

Numerous hikes can be found in the vicinity of our establishment. You can set off on the Grande Randonnée 4, the Blanc-Martel Trail, the Lézard Trail in Carry-le-Rouet, and the Samson Trail. Hike between the turquoise waters and the verdant nature.

The Côte d’Azur, and Cannes in particular, is just a 1.5-hour drive from the Nouvel Hôtel de Commerce. You'll enjoy strolling along the famous Croisette and sunbathing on the superb fine sandy beaches. Beautiful walks along the sea can be part of your Côte d’Azur adventures.
